It’s Not Just another Training or Tool
I want to help you wade through all the confusions and the things being marketed out there for you. I want to help you see what you need to focus on right now.
One of the things I have seen with many authors is information overload. I see this in the authors that I coach inside Author Audience Academy as well as other authors who communicate and email me.
There are so many training out there. There are so many new tools coming out all the time. But I am telling you, this is not a new training or tool that you need to succeed in 2017.
What you need now is to apply and do the things that you already know.
It’s the same thing with eating right and exercising. We already know what we need to do, but we just need to come up with a plan. We just need to find something that really brings us joy and get into it!
What I have found that most authors benefit from is accountability.
The perfect marriage is if you have the training, and you also have the accountability at the same time. When you have both of those things you’re going to have a much greater likelihood of success.
I started Author Audience Academy back in March of 2015 and I’ve learned a ton along the way. Last September 2015, I decided to launch a 90-day accountability group. It was a group which helped authors in my paid membership at AuthorAudienceAcademy.com to publish a book before Christmas.
What I found was incredible!
I found that many members who were finally getting things done and making progress. They are reaching goals, hitting the publish button and becoming best sellers. They are now reaching more people with their God-given messages.
Our group just came alive in such a cool way!
I also offered accountability inside our Facebook group every week. But with the 90-day accountability group, it went a step further.
I met with my members live every week for 30 minutes. We had Q&A and I said, “For accountability, post where you’re at and where you’re stuck.”
This way, they got their questions answered. It was just such a neat feel within our group.
We took December off but we’ve started a new accountability group January 1st. It is another 90-day accountability group.
This time it’s more focused on setting up a Marketing System that will work for you long term. I call it my Author Automation System.
However, you can come into Author Audience Academy and have whatever goal you want for that 90 days.
I teach you how to set a 90-day goal inside of PlanIt Day. That’s a training inside of Author Audience Academy which let you get the accountability to move forward.
So if 2016 has been a year of getting a lot of training and learning lots of things this year is the year of implementing and applying what you already know. It’s time! Let’s do this together. 2017 can be different for you.
You can join at any time within our 90-day accountability group, so jump in at any time. Feel free to still join us. We had people that came into our accountability group later last time, and they still got tons done.
I would love to help you reach your goals. Although you don’t have to get accountability with me only. You could also set up an accountability partner or hire a different coach. Do whatever works best for you.
I really believe that you don’t need to buy another book, another training or tool to find your success. Sometimes you just need to apply and do what you already know.
The Bright Shiny Object Syndrome
What I find is that many authors have the bright shiny object syndrome. You get distracted easily and get off track.
What we want to do in Author Audience Academy is have you set a 90-day goal and have you then focus on that through accountability. I want to see you cross that finish line.
Everyone’s 90-day goal is also going to be different. For some of you, it may be a small goal because you’re working full time or you have many activities or you have children.
But for some of you, your 90-day goal may be big since you are at home and doing this full time. No matter what you goals are, I would love to see you actually do it. I want you to reach your goals and cross the finish line.
The Bible says in Matthew 5, we do not light a lamp to hide it under a basket. No! We’re to put it on a hill for all to see.
Until we click publish, set up our author platform, or do the marketing it’s almost like we’re hiding the light that God has given us.
I want to see you shine and do what God has called you to do. Live out His call for your life. So if you would love to do that I would be honored to be your coach.
You can join us at AuthorAudienceAcademy.com, and if you are an Author Audience Academy member be ready. We are starting 2017 off with a bang!
We are going to have so many fun things. We will go through the Author Automation system and have the Author Automation Blueprint webinar.
We also have the 90-day accountability group, and I’m going to host my first Virtual Writing Retreat. These are going to be done later in the year as well. It is open for anyone to attend for a fee. But in January, any current, active Author Audience Academy member will be able to come to that 2-day Virtual Writing Retreat for free.
It’s going to be January 25th and 26th, Wednesday and Thursday. Mark your calendars! If you’re an Author Audience Academy member I’ll be sending out more information soon.
This is going to be an exciting month and a great time to join if you’ve been on the fence about whether or not to join. I look forward to helping you cross the finish line. I look forward to seeing what you are going to do in 2017.
So let’s do this together!
