Why have I worked on my book for years and gotten nowhere?

Usually because you are caught in a loop that feels like progress. Rewriting the same section, waiting for more time, or buying another course all feel productive while the word count stays flat. Naming the specific loop is what lets you break it.

How do I stop rewriting the same chapter over and over?

Separate drafting from editing. Highlight the rough spot, leave a note, and keep moving. The writing brain and editing brain compete, and the editor wins every time, because finding what is wrong is its entire job.

Can you really write a book in 15 minutes a day?

Yes. Anthony Trollope wrote 47 novels while working full time at the Post Office, measuring his writing in 15-minute units. It works because it survives a real calendar on ordinary days, not because the number is special.

Do I need to feel qualified before I write my book?

No. A publishing contract is a business decision made by a company, not God's verdict on your calling. We self-published over 70 books through Body and Soul Publishing, and waiting for a contract would have meant publishing none of them.

What is the fastest way to get unstuck this week?

Pick the loop you recognized and do its opposite once. Set a timer for 15 minutes, or text one friend and name a check-in time. One small action breaks the pattern faster than more planning.
