I went on a hike in Eagle, Colorado with my husband. And on this trail, you can get very focused on your feet (the dirty trail) and miss the big picture.
Sometimes that happens in life as well.
There was such beautiful scenery on the top of this trail, and sometimes we need to stop, step back and see the big picture instead of looking at the dirt and the dust in front of us.
Sometimes the day-to-day grind gets to us in our work.
I want to ask you right now: Do you need to stop and step back and see the big picture today? Sometimes that means just doing a brain dump on a whiteboard or in a mind map. Sometimes that means getting away from your work for a day and just taking a complete day off from all technology.
I encourage you when you feel overwhelmed, to just stop and take a step back and take in the beautiful scenery because there’s so much more than what is right before us.
