  1. Great post, Shelley. Excellent reminder and scriptural inspiration. I pray that God continues to encourage you. You are so faithful to your calling, and willing to take the next step into new and exciting adventures. Thank you for blessing me with your faithfulness.

  2. I absolutely LOVED the message of encourage in your video Shelly! Totally resonated with my spirit and soul!!!

  3. This was a perfect bit of encouragement for today. I’m a veteran writer who, after 27 years as a reporter and author of multiple books, is seeing much of my client list dry up. I know that’s God’s signal to move on to other areas, but I have no idea where he wants me to go. Or could he be saying “Stand your ground and go to battle with the expertise you have?” Thanks for your motivating words, and thanks for your genuine prayer Shelly.

  4. Thank you, Shelley. This message is just for me. Sorry, Anna! 🙂

God is asking me to be 24/7 caregiver for husband after heart surgery/vascular dementia, and 82 year old cousin with Alzheimer’s and end stage liver disease. A far cry from the 4 book historical fiction contract He provided last year.

Treasure Among the Ruins, Book 1, Voices in the Desert Series has been published by Forget Me Not Romances, Winged Publications. Book 2 due in December.

Until your message today, I had lost heart for my writing because it wasn’t part of the immediate need. You helped put it back into perspective.

    Thank you,

    Lin

  5. This is such a timely message. I haven’t made my book a priority for several months, because there always seems to be so many pressing needs. Thanks, Shelley!

  6. Hi Shelley,
Once again you write the message I need to hear – not just about my writing but about my life. I have published the first three books God has led me to write for Him and am struggling with the fourth. This is OT based and is more of a challenge than the other three which are NT based. I asked God for the next chapter and have waited for almost six months for Him to give it to me – but there it is – written last Thursday. And who is it about? Bezalel! Anointed and empowered by God to do the work God had planned for him. Didn’t link it to my writing though, so this is a gift to me this morning. Now, where’s that pen? God bless you as always, Shelley!
