Notes from this episode:
Is writing a ministry for you? Are you wondering how to reach those who can benefit from your book’s messages? I help writers get their books out and mentor writers. In this episode, I’ll share tips to help you write, self-publish, and market your books to impact lives.
First, start publishing content for your audience by writing blog posts, social media posts, and creating videos or audio. Then, publish your book. It can be messy, but it can also reach people worldwide. Start talking with people and see what resonates with them.
Secondly, understand your target audience. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Get your content out there and see what resonates with people.
To attract new readers, consider:
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) on your blog, Pinterest, YouTube, and Amazon
- Amazon ads
- Collaborations such as podcast interviews, group promotions, and email swaps
Don’t get overwhelmed. Have weekly business meetings with God for guidance and practical training. Remember, your message has the power to touch countless lives.
Take a Step of Faith and Finally Finish Your Book
You have a story to tell. But creating a book that makes an impact isn’t easy, especially without support and guidance.
Our online community, Christian Book Academy, is where we help you write words that leave a legacy, self-publish books that fulfill your calling, and connect with a wider audience.
