In this post, I share over 100 places to promote Christian books in response to this question I received:
Hi Shelley, thank you so much in advance for your advice. I just published a new devotional/motivation book for Christian entrepreneurs. I was wondering if you had any recommendations as the best place to market my book. I had good success with gospelebooks.net.
Do you know of any other similar sites? Thank you again for your help.
The majority of my books are Christian nonfiction books and so I have done a lot of research on this topic. Here are a few resources to consider.
Where to Get Started
These are resources I have personally researched and compiled for our own book marketing efforts over the years and now want to share these resources with you.
Do NOT feel like you have to list your book in each and every place we list within this post, but choose a few to start with and then add your book to other places as you have time. Trying to take advantage of each and every opportunity at once will only serve to overwhelm you, so I highly recommend pacing yourself and choosing the ones that you think will work best for you and your book.

Hi Shelley, I’m a European writer. I have just published a pilgrim’s guidebook about abbeys and monasteries in the Netherlands and Belgium. Do you think there is a market for this in the US?
Shelley Hitz says
I’m not sure how many people travel overseas to visit abbeys and monasteries. You would need to do some research to see if there are other books similar to yours on Amazon already selling well. You could also reach out to some US monasteries and ask them if they think there would be interest.

Hello Ma’am Shelley. I am looking for Christian websites that can help us market the books of our Bishop who has already written more than 100 books by God’s grace that is all about ministry. He has written some books that are given free that talks about salvation. These were My Eternal Decision and Thank God I’m Born Again. He has distributed thousands of copies already to people in different places here in the Philippines not to mention other countries as well to bless the lives of people. His passion for soul-winning is really worth emulating. His heart’s desire is to give out as many of his books as possible to Ministers of the Gospel, Church Workers and all those who are doing the work of the ministry to different places especially to villages or provinces. With these, he wants to sell more of his books in order for him to have some money to use in printing and giving it more for free.
Thank you so much Ma’am for the attention and prompt reply to this message.
Shalom!

First off I would like to say wonderful blog!
I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you do not mind.
I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your head prior to writing.
I have had difficulty clearing my mind in getting my ideas out.
I truly do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually wasted just
trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas
or tips? Kudos!
Shelley Hitz says
I have so many ideas about this. This post has a lot of ideas: https://www.trainingauthors.com/improve-your-writing/ and also check out this one: https://www.trainingauthors.com/escape-writers-block/

Dave Maynard says
I have just written a Christian book, entitled “Random Thoughts on Life, Love, Laughter and Living for Jesus”. It is being published by Covenant Books.
It is 65 entries of 2-4 pages each on the Christian life and how to live for Jesus. One-third of the book are mini-biographies of famous people that you probably didn’t know were Christians.
How do I go about advertising my book? I am on a very limited budget. I can send you some entries for you to peruse, if you like. My book is about 200 pages long with about 65 entries.
I have a website at https://bsssb-llc.com.
Let me know how you think I should proceed.
Thank you for any consideration,
Dave Maynard

Hello, Shelley—thanks for such an extensive list. I wanted to offer a new resource as a fellow Christian author. I own an indie Christian publishing company called The Rebel Christian and we actually just launched a promo platform for authors absolutely free.
We’ve only just stepped into the marketing side of things but we hope to continue going strong and become a valuable source of promotion for Christian authors of all sub genres.
I hope this info finds you well. Thanks for all the knowledge you’ve shared!
Shelley Hitz says
Awesome! Yes thank you for sharing! We’re always looking for new resources.
