Sometimes we simply learn by doing.
I’m currently working on the marketing plan for my upcoming book, “Broken Crayons Still Color.” However, much of what I’m doing is new to me with this book because it’s so different from my other book projects.
Learn As We Go
Even after publishing over 50 books and selling almost 173,000 books, there are days I feel like I don’t know what I’m doing.
When I think about it, I do know about 70% of what I’m doing, but I choose to take action without knowing the other 30%.
I learn as I go. And many days, I have butterflies in my stomach.
My thoughts sometimes go like this:
- How is this going to work out?
- I don’t know all the details.
- I’ve never done this before.
- This is new.
- What am I doing?
Do you ever feel this way as you write and publish your books?
If so, you’re not alone.
That’s why I share my exact system for publishing a Kindle book in my training called, “Procrastination to Publication.”

In the end, successful people make decisions. So my question for you today is, what decision do you need to make today to move forward in writing and publishing your next book?
